The Greater Pittsburgh Diversity Festival invites you to take part in the First Annual Celebration of our region’s ethnic and cultural diversity. As a major new event for the region, the Festival will feature a variety of entertainment, educational and cultural activities. Located in the beautiful, brand new green space at First Avenue and Grant Street in downtown Pittsburgh, the site offers access to the city’s bus line, Pittsburgh’s T-Transit Station, and plenty of parking nearby.
The Festival site will be designed with 4 Villages –
- Youth & Kids Village
- Community Service Area
- Global Business Market
- International Marketplace
And of course, there will be plenty of shopping, entertainment and cultural attractions throughout.
The Greater Pittsburgh Diversity Festival is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization whose mission is to promote and pay tribute to Pittsburgh and the surrounding region’s cultural heritage, while enhancing the region’s image, and the strength and growth of local business by attracting visitors to the city. Through the involvement of artisans, volunteers, entertainers and business partners, the Festival presents an entertaining, educational and community-driven event.
